HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Kindly do not contact the hotel directly for reservations

as they will be made by Target Conferences after registration is confirmed.

Full conference registration includes hotel accommodation for 4 nights, from 8-12 May, 2022.

No refunds are provided for nights not used.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of the Conference is English. 

​

CLIMATE

The weather in May is warm during the day, but cooler at night. 

Clothing is informal for all occasions.

We suggest bringing a light jacket for the evenings and don’t forget your sunglasses, hat and

comfortable walking shoes.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

Prior to booking your flight ticket, please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of the conference. Participants from some countries require a visa to enter Israel.

We suggest that you check this with your travel agent or on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

LETTER OF INVITATION

Upon request, the Secretariat will send a personal letter of invitation to participate in the Conference.

It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to assist participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa and does not represent a commitment on the part of the Conference Organizers.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Participants should book their flights to Ben Gurion International Airport (airport code: TLV). 

COVID INFORMATION

Pre arrival: Foreigners coming to Israel must have a PCR test before boarding their flight to Israel (performed within 72 hours prior to boarding) and are also automatically tested upon arrival at the airport (you cannot leave the airport without a test). There is a mandatory pre-landing form which passengers fill out, and upon completion you are automatically referred to the form and payment for the PCR test at the airport.

In Israel: The rule (which is not at all enforced) is that you are to remain in isolation until you receive your negative result, which they say is up to 24 hours, but in fact is usually only a few hours. Guests may travel by taxi to their hotel and remain in the rooms until they receive the results.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN BEN GURION AIRPORT & CONFERENCE VENUE/HOTEL

Taxi Service – The cost for a one-way trip is approximately 600- 700  NIS (US$ 190-215), depending on the day and time, number of passengers and luggage. The trip should take approximately 2 -2.5 hours depending on traffic.​

Israel is located in GMT+2:00 time zone.

​

ELECTRICITY

The electrical power supply “voltage” in Israel is: 220-240 Volts (U.S./Canada: 110-120 Volts).
