Welcome Letter
Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the international organizing committee, we would like to invite you to apply to register for an exciting conference entitled POTENTIAL AND LIMITATIONS OF EVOLUTIONARY PROCESSES to be held in the Lower Galilee overlooking the Jezreel valley, near Nazareth, between 8-12 May, 2022.

From time to time, the scientific community gathers to address the foundations of evolutionary theory. In 1909, on the 50th anniversary of the publication of the Origin of Species, scientists from around the world met in Cambridge; in 1947, in Princeton, to found the journal Evolution; in 1966, at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, to discuss mathematical challenges to neo-Darwinian theory; in 1980, at the Field Museum in Chicago, to probe the concept of macroevolution – and, most recently, in November 2016, at the Royal Society in London, to examine the idea of an extended evolutionary synthesis. This conference intends to pursue the tradition of evaluating the foundations of evolutionary theory.
